The Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar, Co. Mayo

Bringing together creative voices in language and film, who produced work alongside Niamh O’Malley’s Gather exhibition at the 59th Biennale di Venezia 2022. Featuring readings by acclaimed writers, Brian Dillon and Eimear McBride who contributed texts to the exhibition book, as well as conversations with Niamh O’Malley and the Ireland at Venice Curatorial Team of Clíodhna Shaffrey and Michael Hill of Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Dublin, who discuss the making of Gather. The day is mediated by Kate Strain of Kunstverein Aughrim.

Accompanying film screenings include those by artist, Jenny Brady whose film Gather follows O’Malley through the making of her work, and Ros Kavanagh’s short film which documents the exhibition at the Irish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
